I purchased a used PS2 with a hard drive, HDLoader disk, and a mem card. HDLoader disk was overlaid on a Revolution X game disk. Instructions on the disk said to make sure the Mem Card was in slot 1.
Not sure of the legality of the setup and NOT asking for anyone to help me with something illegal.
The games I had on the HD were copies of physical games I purchased.
The speed in loading was AWESOME!
The system spent some time in storage and now the HDLoader disk simply boots to the Revolution X game.
I have 3 mem cards and am not sure which one was used with the disk but I have tried all of them with the same result.
I contacted the previous owner but he does not remember much about the mod.
Would appreciate any advice to get me working off the HD again and not having to use individual game disks.
It makes most sense to me that the mem card part is what is wrong.
Will OpenPs2 or HDAdvance read the games on the HD?
Thanks for your patience with me as I learn about the different mods and what it will take to restore my access to the HD.
